    Default Great Music - Round 1: 1960-1964 (Group 16 of 16)

During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

    The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night (1964)

Ricky Nelson - Hello Mary Lou (1961)

The Supremes - Baby Love (1964)

Rosie and The Originals - Angel Baby (1960)

The Centurions - Bullwinkle, Part II (1963)

Elvis Presley - (You're the) Devil in Disguise (1963)

Roy Orbison - Only the Lonely (1960)

Very difficult to leave any of these songs off. Will need to ponder for a bit.

Ok, I made my picks. This was really tough as I believe all 7 songs are worthy of moving on.

Indeed a very tough grouping, but what are ya gonna do, the luck of the draw. They are currently out, but both "Angel Baby" and "Bullwinkle" deserve more.
