    I just spoke with Bill. We talked for around 15 minutes. He sounded really good. He was lucid and in good spirits. Bill is plesantly surprised at the number of cards and letters he has received.
    The prognosis for recovery is good, and he hopes to be out of the hospital in a few days.
    He did log in last night and was trying to catch up a bit. He's using a laptop computer that he isn't fully familiar with, but promised to log in again as soon as he can.

    Just got off the phone with Bill (merlin).
    He has been amazed by the number of cards and well wishes coming in and wanted to extend his thanks to all who have been concerned.
    He made a point of calling before he is off to physical therapy or well medicated again.
    He was brief however said when he gets the opportunity he will do his best to conquer the laptop and send messages himself.
    He is thankful for all the TDT friends and very thankful his family was there to assist when needed and seeing he is on the mend.

    I've been away from the site for about 10 days and was shocked when I saw this thread. I am glad to hear that Bill (Merlin) is doing much better and thankful that one of our most important assets will soon be back online!

    Bill,

    Your ill fortune and coma reminded me (there will always be individual spats/disagreements) what a great community this is! Its nice to be able to HANG with like minded individuals and discuss and share are hobby with others on this site. It was neat to see everyone band together for a joint cause.

    It's done, and mailed. I pulled the picture when Bill logged in to the site.

    This is the board in my King room. Picture that I took is minutely off focus-sorry. The poster itself is crystal clear:




    FYI, the image order was primarily by file name.
    Otherwise I would have been front, center, and 3 times larger.
