Didn't realize there was a s/l and trade version - I'd be in for one of each as well
They are the same plate for both just different size cases with different color schemes. I just wanted to make sure everyone got their bang for their buck on this so we didn't have to order two plates of have Jeff trying to switch between plates if not needed.Originally Posted by cit74

Nope not late at all. I just got an email back from Jeff and he is going to be ordering new foils early this week and has has made sure to add a yellow foil and a pink foil to the order. Once he finishes up his checks we should be moving forward with the plate creation.
Also a note for Becca, he is inquiring about holo foil where he gets his from so we should know this week if that is possible for The Martian.
While I am here can someone tell me the full demintions of the trade 1/1 so I can be 100% sure that this plate will fit the book. I know the height I just need the width mostly. (Or someone can just send one to me and I can measure it myself)

Good news. Just heard back from Jeff that he now has Pink and Yellow foil in stock and he is ready for the plate to go to the makers. Are we all good to go with the following plate?

It will be whatever color combo you choose that Jeff can do. You pick a case color and a foil color when you email him and he will make it. He has a select colors you can choose from so its always easiest to just email him for current colors.
I thought you were using the one with the font from the book cover?

He doesn't have the plate made yet. I emailed him last night (US time) to let him know to be expecting it so there is usually a 3-5 day turnaround on plate creation. I will post in this thread once he has everything and is ready for orders, as well as how to order.

I presume that these would take into consideration that there's a brodart, etc on the books - so they're not too tight of a fit? Otherwise everything looks great.

I am measuring off of my S/L that has Brodart. I do not have a Trade Hardcover so i am relying on Becca's measurements for that, 9 9/16" x 1 1/4". When ordering from Jeff you can send along individual measurements for your book and he will tailor it as well.
We might want to add 1/16" to the trade... can someone else measure the trade edition to verify?
