I'm starting this thread as a place to record miscellaneous essays by King that come up from time to time that don't really need a dedicated thread. I know Justin keeps close tabs on these things for his records.

So it's not commercially released? It's more like a magazine/program type thing?

This may not be regarded as non-fiction per se, but for the first time ever (YAY!) I got responses from King (via the moderator of course, but still...) to a few questions I asked on his message board: http://stephenking.com/xf/index.php?...ublished.7382/

I found this online piece which was from last year: Stephen King Looks Back at The Shawshank Redemption (on www.oscars.org). It's not taken from the introduction in The Shawshank Redemption: The Shooting Script. Here it is: http://www.oscars.org/news/stephen-k...ank-redemption

Last year on Portland Press Herald's website, there was a piece by King on Bellows and it looked like an online exclusive due to the lack of info on a print version. I decided to contact the Herald and as it turned out, there was a print version and I was lucky to purchase an actual Portland Press Herald with the piece in it. So it's fair to assume that it's the same case with this NYT piece - will contact them and find out.
Do you have the date of that piece?
