Stunning art, as per usual with Howard's works.

I don't think I've seen that before. Nice! I love those Jones covers you posted up thread mkb.redux!

My personal favorite, the numbered hardcover edition of Bloodstar.

    Fantastic work by Richard Corben.

    Great stuff mkb.redux and killjoy72!

I have the Zebra Tigers of the Sea, also. I really like Cormac Mac Art, the Gaelic warrior in King Arthur's time. I wish REH had done more Cormac stories (I think he only did two). One of the things that always impresses me about REH is the many different time periods that he wrote about: from Pre-Cataclysmic (Thurian Age) to Hyborian Age to the Dark Ages to the Tudor period to the Wild West to early 20th century Afghanistan. He was equally comfortable in all of them.

Speaking of REH and "Ages", those that have kids will find this amusing...There's a popular Disney animated kids show called Phineas and Ferb. Two of my kids watch it quite often. It's a really well done, funny show that often drops semi-obscure references that only parents (or older people) will get. Well, there was an episode that had a REH reference (don't recall the name of the episode). Two of the main characters had this ongoing feud all episode about which is better, sci-fi or fantasy. It reaches a heated climax and the fantasy fanatic (Buford), with his posse of "fantasy friends" behind him, says (while holding up an axe), "Bring it on, Speckies! We're gonna go all Hyborian age on you!!" To which the other character, Baljeet (the sci-fi fan), says, "That is not even a real age!" Just hearing the words "Hyborian Age" on a modern day kids show absolutely floored me! Both of my kids had no clue what that meant... but I did! Pretty cool.

Wow - I love this stuff.
I even forgot that, while living in Canada, I bought The Savage Sword of.. faithfully.
I must have had close to 100 issues. Node what happened to them.

Great to see so many wonderful images here.
    Thanks for sharing.

CONAN: RED NAILS The Original Art Archives by Roy Thomas & Barry Windsor-Smith
Deluxe oversized slipcase edition, limited to 1973 copies.

I got this signed by Roy at Heroes Con last year.

The photos don't really do this thing justice. The art here is presented full size, making this bad boy clock in at 14" x 19".
