This is something I have been hearing a lot of people talk about, and I fully agree with it.
TDM, CTR and KoTH are public game modes that are not intended to be competitive, and a max respawn time of 30 seconds is simply way too long.
New players already feel overwhelmed by all the people that know what they're doing, and they already die a whole bunch. I can totally understand someone leaving after they have played for almost as long as they have waited for respawns.
Of course this has its downsides, but I don't think these are too annoying for casual gametypes.
Also I think this could help further combat spawncamping, which still is an issue.
I would say cut it in half, so spawn time is somewhere between 0-15 seconds.
