Currently past winners can win the GP.
Had Ari_Racing won 2 or 3 years in a row; we'd probably adjust the rules.
HA! It's been a long time since I won the gran prize (2009). And I didn't win any other prizes from that moment on.

If I drew the winner and Bill won 3 years in a row, people would bitch.
At the Sarasota event, Ari won 3 or 4, perhaps 5 in a row. After the second one, there was a collective groan as he (fairly) won two more.
A bit like Johhny Smith on a roll....
If I remember correctly, there were 6 in a row. But later I didn't win anything at the event. Nevertheless, I was really lucky. I remember only one other time when I won 6 prizes in a row, and I was 11 years old, so it was loooong ago.

There's one naughty cartoon I saw once about someone that wins everything. In the last picture, a male prostitute draws a f*ck...
40 years ago, when I was 15... I won a T-shirt off a radio call in show.... but when I went down there... all they had was a small... which didn't fit (I wore a large). I think it turned into a mighty fine car polishing rag though.

yeah... that's about it for me.

so... how many entries did the 500.00 Bill no-smoking donation equate too? or did it even count?

I don’t think it is a coincidence, but I am disappointed that Mr. Smith didn’t go the extra mile and use check # 1919.

I don't have a total for 2010, but based on the past 5 years an estimated figure for next year to continue the growth trend would be....

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

20K is the amount to match the growth rate. A linear value would be $18,925
