Fun With Flags: Round 1 - Group I
Please vote for the best flags; you may choose up to six flags. The top six will be moving on to the next round. This is NOT a vote for which country is "better". We are strictly voting based on the aesthetics and the design of each flag, not taking into account any geopolitical issues. Below each flag you'll find a link to the Wikipedia article about that flag, if you're curious to find out more about its history and symbolism.
A really colorful group here. I'm going with Uruguay, Japan, Iran, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and Georgia.

I really like Mongolia's a lot, hope it can gain a few more votes.
I have always liked Uruguay's flag and it has not changed for so many years in such a region.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
Japan, Iran, and Senegal are tied for sixth, hope we can break the tie. I like all three...

The following three flags will face-off in a tiebreaker for the last spot to move on:

And the following two flags are eliminated:
- Central African Republic (21.43%)
- Palau (7.14%)
