More votes for Despicable Me!!!!
Despicable me, is NOT a Sci-Fi movie. It's a kids animated feature. I can't believe it got more than just your vote.
28 in 23 (?)!!!!

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Wow, this group is jam packed with some of my favorite films. My list in order:
1) Twelve Monkeys
2) Children of Men
3) The Thing
4) Looper
5) Serenity
I love Despicable Me, but I don't consider it Sci-fi, so I can't vote for it. I wish it the best of luck in the tournament.
Matt, I would suggest watching the series Firefly before watching Serenity. The movie is good, but doesn't truly capture the TV show in my opinion.

Plotwise, Serenity continues on the foundation lain by Firefly. It probably is best to watch the full series first. (Luckily for one in that situation, it's not extremely long.) However, I don't think it is an absolute must to do it that way. They did a pretty good job making it accessible and appealing to a larger audience.
I would also highly recommend watching Firefly if you haven't seen it yet Matt.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
How does Despicable Me have three votes already?
eXistenZ and The Fountain are currently tied at 6 for the final berth!
Despicable Me would probably be one of the best I ever saw if I was like 11.
I chose only 4. 12 Monkeys is the best, but I thought eXistenZ was a very clever movie.
A tiebreaker between The Fountain and Melancholia would be fun!
More Aronofsky votes.

Now four votes for Despicable Me and still only five for Melancholia. What in the fuck is going on?
Why are you so adamantly championing that movie? What do you see in it that's so special that it deserves to be named one of the best sci-fi films ever made? Not being a dick, just wondering.
Especially when we know Wall-e is the best animated feature in this tournament.

I would be more inclined to see Despicable Me as a comedy... Sorry but cannot vote for it here
Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape.

And Nausicaä - another animated film that's pretty mind-blowing. I also wanted to nominate A Scanner Darkly and Paprika and Renaissance, but there's only so many films you can fit into 160...
