Rose and I just got back from seeing it in theaters. Our first since Covid. She gave it a 4/5, I gave it a 3/5. While the action scenes were fantastic, the story and human characters brought the whole movie down. Still enjoyable, and I'm glad we saw it in theaters.

Saw it last week, absolutely loved it. It did what it needed to do, and it did it remarkably well. Those fight scenes were a wonder to behold.

I'm glad I caught this on it's way out of movie theaters where I'm at. It was insanely entertaining. I sat relatively close to the front of the theater, and between the ear shattering sound and the close ups, man did I feel like I was in the middle of the battles. If it were playing in theaters for the summer, I'd go back at least one more time to watch this larger than life film.

I've been on a Godzilla/Kong kick lately. I watched GvK (enjoyed it just as much the second time, although without the added bonus of the big screen), Skull Island, and King of Monsters all within the past 2 days.

Gonna finish it off with Godzilla today before it leaves HBO

I'm with you. I saw it in the theater and then watched it at home and there's no comparison. My home setup is high quality, but there's just no imitating the theater experience. That's a film that needs to be seen in a theater.
