"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Truly incredible.
That’s what you call a rarity! Well done on these acquisitions Alec!

Incredible stuff, Alec! Congrats!
Looking for:
- Philtrum Press Eyes of the Dragon RED #165
- Fine Viking Eyes of the Dragon proof
Many thanks gentlemen for the positive comments. Much appreciated.
Brian, I did have the solander cases made, purely utility, hence no stamping on the cases. Though sometimes I think it is not always necessary to know what to expect.
Simon called over today for a catch up, I had not seen him for about nine months, so it was really good to compare notes.
He is posting a King tomorrow that I believe has not been seen before.
Time will tell.
I'm speechless, once again! Congratulations, Alec! AMAZING!!

Looking forward to tomorrow for that King.

Love this wrapper! Great colors, and still vibrant. And no spine creases!
Of course, the signature is beautiful, as always.
Altogether, even though this particular copy of the trilogy is not nearly as rare as some of the others, this is one of my favorite Tolkien's that you've posted. Simply a beautiful package all around.
As Alec mentioned I had the opportunity to visit him again yesterday and as always an extremely enjoyable way to spend a day. Aside for the excellent company of Alec and his good lady, (not to mention the very enjoyable lunch) I also got to see, in person, some of Alec's new acquisitions.
On some of these, my lips are sealed (sorry) but I have the greatest pleasure in being able to show some photos of a rare item indeed. One that I'm sure most of the collecting community had no idea even existed. For those that aspire to be 'completists' I say good luck on acquiring one of these!
Two seemingly identical Lettered Misery boxes...
Of course having one is a rarity, having 2, well I'm sure we'd all love a spare... but this second one is a little different...
WHITE KEYS!
This is a PC copy of which I believe only a handful exist. Lovely attention to detail on the 'letter' page and of course the identifier on the rear should be something special as well...
PC designation on the Tray case

Wow. two of them. Most impressive. I know I will never be a completest. So it's fun seeing all the rare stuff. I can't wait to see what the really rare item is. Love both Misery books.

I am very aware of these. I am super envious brother that you have one. Haha as you know I’ve been after the “cent key” one for some time. Just thought with my “$” designation it would be super cool. One day! Very well done!! Cheers my friend
