The Stand is two volumes in two traycases.
"Our feeling therefore is a double volume, each with its own individual traycase, making THE STAND Volume One and THE STAND Volume Two.
However, with Steve's signature pages safely in the PS safe we propose to carry right on ahead. "
"With the price at £3,600 we are asking customers to make the first payment (£1,800) when they order the set and the second payment (£1,800 again) when the book has is fully completed and about to be mailed to customers."
I would prefer two traycases. I hate single traycases with two Lettered Editions...
There are lots of design options for multiple volumes in a single traycase.

Looking for SubPress Lettered::
Angel's Game and Prisoner of Heaven (Zafon)
Ilium (Simmons)
I have 3 Lettered reserved always until I give them up (sadly none for me)
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
I have not yet received a ping from Pete to order/reserve or make first payment.
Alright, we'll call it a draw.
My quotes were all from his email.
The only time I have seen any major changes to the design due to public opinion, was the change of artist for The Shining (Sub Press).
Suntup obviously listen and release stuff based on requests, but I take Paul as the exception to the rule.
Doesn't mean it isn't worth a try, given the value and small customer base.
Come to think of it, Pete's increase in numbers for 'Lettered' Colorado Kid was due to pressure of demand?
btw, no stake in this, just chewing the fat.

Fairy Tale UK S/L
thanks for the responses FRIK and Old Crow! I can relax a little.
No worries. I do get nervous tracking these things because I once had a mail server issue that was keeping Pete's messages from being delivered. So he was pinging but I was totally unaware. Turned out to be a issue with the email service not playing nice with UK systems (must've been a Brexit thing! ) but think I got it fixed swapping to a different service. Still, I'm trying to stay diligent.
Alright, we'll call it a draw.
