I believe he means the S/L of The Fireman that PS put out. For some reason they put the price on the back of the slipcase. After the slipcases were done, the price was changed so instead of redoing the cases, they used a black marker to cover up the original price. I have one of them and it is an..... interesting look. 🙂
Yes, this is the book off which I speak. I canceled my order with CD when I saw that. Completely unprofessional.
Thanks for explaining. I have that edition and didn't notice. Yes, that's not how a modification to a collectible edition should be handled.

It's actually on the back dustjacket, not the slipcase, Br!an. Took me a while to find it. My dustjacket has "£60" markered out in black.

Look carefully. The price is on the right side of the barcode. It is very small.

Yep. This is why I cancelled it. I’m sure PS got the £70 but I did not, and still do not, want that book on my shelf.

i would post a photo if I ever get around to finding another image hosting site, since I gave up on imageshack and Flickr, but there is a second state of the DJ with the price corrected.

That's even stranger... Did they increase the limitation size after having printed the original incorrect jackets? Or did they just decide to print new jackets for whatever copies were left after a certain amount of time?

Something similar happened to 20th Century Ghosts. The dust jacket had the wrong artist credited on the back so they put what looked like a price sticker over it with Vincent Chong’s name on it.

Since the current conversation is about PS Publishing’s bs,
Has anyone considered moving this out of the Subterranean Press thread?

    HI everyone .

I am still searching for the PS Publishing lettered version of Thinner and in particular Letter P. Does anyone on here own that copy? I have a PC copy that I can trade plus some cash to close the deal or simply buy outright (if the price is right).

Can collectors please ask around and see if we can track this copy down .........PLEASE
