I am going to buy it!
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. - Edgar Allan Poe
Bunch together a group of people deliberately chosen for strong religious feelings, and you have a practical guarantee of dark morbidities expressed in crime, perversion, and insanity. - H.P. Lovecraft
Its not available in Aus at all - diem ordered both Road and the Concordance from the US for my birthday
So I think ive got all dark tower works now, DTI-VII, DTVII first edition, Road, the complete concordance and the hardcover version of all Gunslinger Born comics.

I have been curious about this book. I'll get it eventually, I guess. Hell, I just now got ahold of Robin's concordance, so I have alot of stuff to read through as I re-read the series for the first time.
.
Its very much worth the price, I highly recommend it.

Oh it's totally worth getting. I think the book is far better than the Concordances. It's written incredibly well and is interesting and informative. Three cheers for Bev!
I am Daenerys Stormborn and I will take what is mine. With fire and blood.
I think my book and Robin's concordance are complementary. The Concordance isn't meant to be read cover to cover -- it's a quick research tool. Mine is meant more to be read, whereas it's probably not the fastest place to look up the names of all the guardians of the beam.

Somehow, I don't think that's quite what he meant Josh. Wait, this is Matthew...nevermind, it's precisely what he meant.
I highly recommend his book as well.

Good story, Bev! I knew she was going to double cross her, but not that way! HE HE
Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.
Oh--can't wait to read this.

Spoiler:
Bev, I really enjoyed your story! Don't hate me when I say that's the first thing (other than forum posts) that I've read by you.
Damn good story, Bev!

I just made through your book Bev, and I got to hand it to you; you really know your stuff.
One or two questions; you detail a little the battle at Jerico Hill and I don't remember that detail in any of the books. Have you seen other sections, unpublished that could be considered DT material?
Given the way the DT has spilled over into so many books, even Liseys Story, in my opinion, do you think it likely that he will either add to the tale, or even publish a version from a different level of the Tower?
I believe King is still in a position to create the longest epic in history. I maintain that the Dark Tower is an unfinished work in if nothing else he has mentioned revising and expanding all of them as he did the first book. I for one would love to pick up again as he pursues the Man in Black, this time with the Horn of Eld.
Perhaps I just see too many connections. Oy and Wolf seem to me to be the same character for example.
Oooooo Bev, that was creepy good.
The answer is within
all matter is energy, all energy is GOD
I'm not sure exactly which section you mean about the battle of Jericho Hill, but I suspect it is the part that is in Wolves of the Calla. I haven't seen any unpublished material. There are some quotes and events from the seventh book taken from the first draft manuscript that were subsequently changed in the final version of DT7, but I was able to correct those in the Cemetery Dance edition.
My belief: King will never return to the Dark Tower series. He may continue the tie-ins to a small extent, especially if he and Straub get together for the third Talisman novel, but I think that he is done with that particular mythos. I might be surprised a dozen years down the road, but that's my current thinking on the subject.
Any idea if it looks like you'll do any update to The Road to the Dark Tower once the comics are finished? Or is that still too far away right now?
