Man, that is addictive!
"People, especially children, aren't measured by their IQ. What's important about them is whether they're good or bad, and these children are bad." ~ Alan Bernard
"You needn't die happy when your day comes, but you must die satisfied, for you have lived your life from beginning to end and ka is always served." ~ Roland Deschain
It is an entertaining exercise.
I think I got to level 48.
The one reservation I have is that a lot of the definitions are not really synonymous with the words given.
Since when is a bodega known as a "wine-house?"
There were other definitions that were really off, but that's the one that sticks out.
Since about 1848:
Online Etymology Dictionary
bodega
1848, from Mex.Sp., from Sp., "a wine shop," from L., from Gk. apotheke "depot, store"
Wordnet
bodega
noun
a small Hispanic shop selling wine and groceries
Dictionary.com:
1. (esp. among Spanish-speaking Americans) a grocery store.
2. a wineshop.
3. a warehouse for storing or aging wine.
And so on and so forth.
There's one hole in every revolution, large or small. And it's one word long.. people. No matter how big the idea they all stand under, people are small and weak and cheap and frightened. It's people that kill every revolution.
My fault.
There are other (valid) examples though.
I didn't have a problem with the agriculture-related nouns-since it is a food program-but some of the other definitions seemed a bit stretched, IMO.
I'll have to go back and take it again so I can cite specific examples.
I guess I have a problem with the notion that every term has a one-word synonym, which is the underlying basis of the game.
Picky.
Yeah, there were some weird ones, but overall it was pretty fun.

I'm torn between my love of simple games and my hatred of helping people.
People said I was dumb, but I proved them.
I can totally respect that.

Oh man, what an amazing site... the bestest I have seen for long...
Roland would have understood.
I wish there was some statistics there. I sent some shit ton of rice, but there were a few words I didn't know, and now I don't remember what they were.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nevermind dear Jean. The most important part is the hit ton of rice.
Roland would have understood.
Thank you R of G. I am in love with this site.
Roland would have understood.
Why can't they just give them the rice without making other people jump through meaningless hoops?

i love this!
I can't get past the 40 level though!
"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."
play it long enough jb and you'll get the same words repeated, you can then move up levels...
Thats fun. I ended up donating 1280 grains of rice and was made out to be a retard. Its amazing how right these computer game thingies are.
"It's his eyes, Roland thought. They were wide and terrible, the eyes of a dragon in human form" - Roland seeing the Crimson King for the first time.
"When the King comes and the Tower falls, sai, all such pretty things as yours will be broken. Then there will be darkness and nothing but the howl of Discordia and the cries of the can toi" - From Song of Susannah
it's very addictive
