    Had totally forgotten mine wasn’t opened - maybe I’ll take a peek tomorrow ?! Should we leave then in shrink wrap anyhow ? Is that bad like no term for them ?

    From what I have heard from quite a few collectors is you should remove the book from shrink wrap. It's about 60-40 in my estimation for temoving the shrink. Some claim it can damage the book others, no issues.
    Best reason I have seen to remove is that you want to check your purchase and make sure you got what you bought with no defects or errata. I suppose that doesn't apply to this book any lomger cause I doubt you would get anything from DMG now, but a good rule for the future, IMHO
