    Up for auction, an original piece of art by Mark Geyer in a US First Edition of "Rose Madder"

    100% of the net proceeds of this auction go to The Haven Foundation. Originally founded by Stephen King, The Haven Foundation is a national, non-profit organization making grants to freelance writers and artists experiencing career-threatening illness, accident, natural disaster or other emergency or personal catastrophe.

    I love charity as much as the next guy (and probably more), but I think you can still buy this remarque direct from Mark Geyer for $60 (plus the cost of the book, or course). Getting over $100 seems pretty generous to me. I'm surprised that The Dead Zone went as cheap as it did, though

    You're right of course, but I hadda try!!!!

    As for TDZ for the record the buyer donated additional funds to the widget to make up the difference to $200 which, was pretty freaking cool of him!!!
