New and interesting signed King item I just received - The Seventh World Fantasy Convention Reader. I'm not sure how rare it is to find a King signature in this limited edition but I've only ever seen a few and this one is very unique.

    Why were addresses included?
Notice that the ones describing unarmed trespassers as an "insurrection" are the same ones that twice tried to remove a sitting President in the complete absence of a high crime or misdemeanor - because they wanted to. Consequences are funny things.

I wish I knew. These books were given out to attendees of the convention for free. Maybe it was an industry person or maybe a fan who wanted to send something to them? I've asked if there is any other information but this was at a rare book shop.

    Becca, that is really delightful.
I have seen some convention books signed, in fact I have one, however nothing that compares to your copy.
Rare? Well I have not seen anything like it. So yes, rare!
    Well done a real coup.

That was available on Abe for awhile - I thought it was way overpriced but it seems I was wrong.

I got it direct from the store for less than advertised on ABE plus free expedited shipping. I know of another collector who recently got a copy on Etsy with a flat signed King and Fritz Leiber signature for just under $700. I think this one was worth more than that and it's in fine condition. These came unsigned and it was up to convention attendees to get them signed, so it's an unknown how many King actually signed. There is one other copy available now with more signatures that I was considering that was over $2K. Maybe I paid too much but I feel it's so unique I think it was worth it. I spent a few weeks thinking it over and was going to go with the other copy but I really wanted this one.

    Hi Becca,
Mine is the sixth World Fantasy.
Post number: 676 on my collection thread.
(Not a fine copy, however interesting, with very much the same layout inside as yours).
