I don't even care that much about the whole thing but Mr. Miller seems to have lost his mind.

The “Occupy” movement, whether displaying itself on Wall Street or in the streets of Oakland (which has, with unspeakable cowardice, embraced it) is anything but an exercise of our blessed First Amendment. “Occupy” is nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness. Miller hasn't lost his mind. There's no contradiction between having functional intelligence and being a total jerk. He's creative (sometimes) but always has been pretty narrow-minded, IMO.

It always makes me sad when he talks. He has written some of the best Batman stories, but otherwise is a gigantic moron.

He's one of the authors whose work I try to separate from their personal views and often times, bullshit they spew in public. The only one I'll never read again or support is Orson Scott Card. That man is just too hard core for me.
