[Mattrick]

Beneath me lay the bones of a million men
A billion miles of forgotten skin.
In the blink of an eye
I, will become one of them,
A million blinks, a million lives;
A thousand wars and a thousand tides.
A tendril of memories begot from quills,
Shackle me to graves of a million nameless men.
When the vessel in which they are fraught
Sinks in a an opaque, monolithic wake,
Would they rise or be consumed by the lake?
After all these roads and my epitaph erodes,
Will my steps be scored upon my bones?

I guess if you want to merge this with my other one I wrote a few weeks back, give a tenntative name like 'Mattricks Words' or something and I'll add to whenever I feel like writing something....the urge is at least coming back. Not sure when I'll write anything else, the mood has to strike. No idea why my 'of' and 'ands' doubled themselves but too lazy to fix it now haha
