I thought her name sounded familiar. I went back through some of my Ebay notes. I almost posted this from the same seller at the beginning of the month:

It ended so fast with a buy it now I didn't get a chance to post it. I'm not saying the sig is fake I was concerned about how the picture of the signature looked placed in the book. Maybe it's just the way the picture was taken. Just looked odd to me.

The signature in Nightmares in the Sky definitely looks traced. Check out the pressure point at the end of the line right past the K. See the heavy dot? In a King's signature this is the area it's starts to fade a little from NO pen pressure.

I believe the picture of the signature was intentionally left too small to evalutate! I won't ever bid on an auction if the sig is too small to get a good look at it!

It looks like a fairly typical recent signature and consistent with his very rushed recent style. It's always helpful though to see a larger example that includes the entire page if possible to gauge the size of the writing and its location on the page.

I bet those two factors do have a lot to do with it. Does King usually sign in the same general area on a page?

He most often signs just below his printed name on the title page. Except of course for the S/L's, where he signs the limitation page.
