I really don't care if one of them is real. The majority are obviously not. He is selling forged goods which makes him a felon.
I received a reply...
"i brought all my s king books off ebay with good faith from the usa, checked the signatures from other books selling and by using google, found same as mine. sure ebay would get in touch if thought i was selling dodgy goods. thanks for your concerns.

I might buy a couple of the worst ones just to open a case against him.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
He wrote me back and told me he would file a complaint if I don't quit telling him he's selling forgeries.

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I think it is just fine but it is sort of blurry. It would help to see a sharper image and one that includes the entire page to judge size and placement of the signature. But, at first glance, it seems OK.

I think it's good, too.
The damage would be the least of my worries - that signature is horrible, to say the least. Steve is not spelled Steph for starters.
I reported all five listings, and then messaged him on one asking if he knew he was selling fakes. Kinda hope he tells me to leave him alone too...He wrote me back and told me he would file a complaint if I don't quit telling him he's selling forgeries.

Nice work on reporting him and messaging him. I'm keeping reporting him as well.
A lot of his other signatures look fake - but I'm not sure of all the authors, I googled a few and they are obviously fake. He had a J.K. Rowling at one stage that was a total forgery, just like all his Kings. I think he signs some of them himself, I don't believe he bought any of them in "good faith".
This seller put 5 signed books for sale -

Legit ?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DOLORES-CLAI...-/111349753867

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOUR-PAST-MI...-/380901869565
http://www.ebay.com/itm/STEPHEN-KING...-/380901871471
I think there is a mix. FPM and Duma Key look good. The others are def forgeries.
I suspect the seller has bought over a period of time and has bought badly. I don't think they are personally faking the signatures to sell.

I think they are all fake and the seller knows that they are fake. No reason to give this guy any benefit of doubt, IMO.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Every single one of those is a fake. Their Cormac McCarthy is a fake, too.
My conversations with him were perhaps a bit more polite.... However likely won't change anything. !!!
Me: Dear lordoftherings77, That signature is a horrible forgery... in case you don't know.. Hate for you to get mixed up in fraud... thought I would share.
Response: i just double checked on google stephen king signature, he has around a hundred different signatures on there that are considered real. found the one i have in the regulators book i have which i brought via a ebay seller who has 100percent feed back. book was described 1st edition signed which i believe it is. check out the perchase history of book if have doubts, it came from the usa.

Me: Dear lordoftherings77,
I know Stephen King and have numerous of his signed books I have personally received from him.
I see you have several books signed.... they contain frauds. Just because you can find sigs like it places like ebay and google does not make them real...There are many frauds. The real ones are found in his limited editions which he signs before published. I have regrettably bought some books on ebay that had fraudulent sigs before I knew better and before meeting Stephen. I was trying to be helpful.... as YOU ARE OFFERING FRAUDS.
Response:
like u say it is hard to see if real or fake, ive brought all my books on ebay from sellers with 100perc feed back. been going on good faith. bet there must be loads that are hard to tell if proper or not. all books i brought r described as real. i will try and get them checked out. thank you.

I believe he may not know what he is doing...and surely DOES NOT CARE
It sounds like he knows what he is doing. He is leaning on the fact that he bought these on EBAY as legit signatures (so deniability is established) and he is reselling these on ebay with the same language. That is just my two cents.
I call bullshit
