Great, thanks for the info.
What are people thoughts on the new American Horror Story? So far, I see nothing worth while with the premise and the characters. I was kind of disappointed with it.

Stop in the AHS thread. So far it's just three of us who've commented on the new season.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
too many threads! but I will look.

I haven't watched it because my DVR never understands that American Horror Story is the same show every year.

I've only seen the first two seasons of AHS.
I love the intro lol.
You need to watch Freakshow Feev. One of the better seasons. And I love the intros too. And that creepy music

A little off/on subject, but does anyone watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CGI cartoon series on Nickelodeon/Nick Jr.? Rose and I just finished the third season, but I tell ya, for the most part, this is really an enjoyable show! Like, it rates right up there with other slightly better than average shows that IIIIII watch. Anyone? Bueller?

I can't remember if we've ever talked about this show, but it's something I've been following for a while. Mainly because we all know how much I love Tom Hardy. I think it's amazing how an actor of his caliber will appear on a cable show. I honestly can't think of an actor that appeared on a cable show at the height of career on the same level that Hardy is operating on right now.

I remember people talking about Taboo. I'm interested in it. Saw a preview awhile ago about it. I like Tom Hardy, but now that Rob Stark's wife is in it, I'm totally in .

I'm really looking forward to Taboo. I remember hearing about it awhile back when it was first announced and then I completely forgot about it until I saw a commercial the other day. Hopefully I'll remember it when it starts because I don't think it's until next year right?
Also has anyone watched Unlocking the Truth on MTV. I never watch MTV anymore and now I know why. I saw a commercial for it, and lately I've been big into hearing about cases of innocent people being locked up and how messed up our judicial system is. So I had to watch it. The first episode was good, it focused solely on one case about a 14yr old boy who was convicted and sentenced to life for killing his mother. Only problem is that in the second episode they introduce a new case partway thru and then continue to jump between the two cases. And then only an episode or two later introduce a third case. I'll admit to fast forwarding thru the other cases because I would much rather focus on one at a time instead of 10 mins on one and then 30 min on the next, and jumping back and forth between the three. Also the show is very dramatic in the way it's laid out. For instance in the first episode they mention a mysterious person that was seen near the scene of the crime yet no one wants to mention the name of this person. So now they're on the hunt for who this person could be. I guess it's totally geared toward the attention span of the younger people these days and made extra dramatic for show reasons. It has a good premise but I don't know that I can keep watching it. I wish they would just lay out all the facts for and against the person and what they're doing to try to exonerate the person.

By the way, my new internet crush is Perri Nemiroff from Collider. I'm literally trying to get her to bring me as her date to her sister's wedding on Twitter. Her favorite film is Jurassic Park, so I posted my pic of my Jurassic Park DVD/BluRay/VHS/laserdisc collection. She liked the tweet, so finger's crossed
In all seriousness, she's really great on that show.
Heather, I haven't heard of that show on MTV. I don't really watch anything on there anymore. My sister watches Scream and says it's pretty good though.

Not reeeeaaalllly, but yes. But the humor is there, the characters are great, the storytelling, everything. We just finished the third season, I already have the fourth downloaded, and it's killing me that I have to wait a week until I have Rose again so we can watch it together.
I really liked The Good Place last night. Anyone else watch?
A NEW GAME BEGINS
It's Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. Bell's character dies and wakes up in "the Good Place" (a kind of Heaven). It's on NBC and it's regular timeslot is Thursday (yesterday's date was just for the premiere).
It's quick-paced, quirky, and funny. Their concept of the afterlife (and how you get there) is really great.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Just finished the two episode premiere. I liked it. Gave one a three and the other a four, out of five.

Bull was excellent, 5/5 and This Is Us is on its way to be in my Top Fifteen TV Shows, if it keeps up. Easily one of the finest (and SUPER manipulatively emotional, which I love --i.e. Parenthood, i.e. Grey's Anatomy, i.e. i.e. lol) hours of television I've ever seen. Fingers crossed it keeps up.
I watched The Good Place last night. It was pretty good with a unique premise but we'll see how long they can stretch it out. I kept laughing at "fork me" and "ash-hole".
I saw the ads for This is Us but didn't record/watch it. Looks like it might be good.
I'm looking forward to season 2 of Superstore. Having actually worked at a Wal-Mart for a couple of years makes the show a little relatable for me.
Anyone else watching Mr Robot? That ending last night... Can't wait for season 3.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
