Ah I see. Thanks for clearing that up. It's nice they spent time creating that. Any channel here would probably not do that.

Apparently, there's an American remake of the Tomorrow People. Gotta say, I'm a little bit skeptical. I've yet to see the 1970s original other than the intro that could give a man an epileptic fit* but the 90s version I saw was one of those rare shows aimed at kids that aimed to scare the living shit out of them. The new American version just looks...so CW: aimed at teenagers rather than kids with plots wrapped around special effects and shirtless men (I'm still amazed at how fucking awesome Supernatural is, tbh). I might give it a watch, but I'm not holding my breath.

*Seriously, it's one of the most "WTF?!?" intros I've ever seen. It just looks so dated and cheap and my god, I have to see this show!

I've seen bits of the CW Tomorrow People and am not all too impressed. Your speculations are pretty much right on. The only bright spot is Mark Pellegrino.

I haven't seen any of the new episodes. I've been hooked on catching the re-runs on Fox and USA as they air. So, I'm still playing catch-up. Plus, they aren't on Netflix, and On Demand wants to charge for the episodes. WTF?!

But, this show is fucking hilarious. I'm so glad I started watching it.

They're charging for past seasons? Because I'm almost positive that the current season's episodes are free.

WGN is airing the pilot episode of their first ever original series "SALEM" on April 21st. I'm only promoting it because I've been traveling across state lines to work on it (just as an extra)! You can spot me in the back of the church to the left in this promo pic - I circled myself:

Just started watching Modern Family last/this week. LOVE it so far.

Finished S3 of both The Wire and Sopranos.

About to wrap up season 1 of Mad Men.

Looking to start House of Cards as well.

Which reminds me: need to finish off original House of Cards trilogy soon. Loving it so far.

And don't forget to let me know when you're about to start season 4 of the Wire, Fernando. Was almost gonna start without ya, I've been itching to get back to it.

Speaking of HBO: planning on starting season 2 of Game of Thrones (still halfway through A Clash of Kings, but fuck it, one of those rare cases where the TV series just has more appeal to me than the books, I guess).

Firstly: Yes! I love Modern Family!

Second: I can't wait for the new season of Mad Men to start. It started to drag off for a bit, but the last season was really good. I'm pretty interested to see how they wrap up the series.

    http://news.yahoo.com/fxx-plans-mara...185550146.html
The FXX network plans a marathon telecast this summer of episodes of "The Simpsons" — all 552 of them consecutively.

The network said Wednesday the marathon will start Aug. 21 and continue into Labor Day. FXX programming chief Chuck Saftler said it coincides with the network's purchase of rerun rights and the development of an app that gives access to every episode of the long-running animated series.

Saftler said FXX will show four hours of episodes every Sunday this fall, up until the time a new episode is aired in prime time on Fox.

FXX is televised in some 72 million homes, and it hopes to hit the 80 million mark sometime later this year.

I just binged on the first eighteen episodes of The Blacklist -- what a great show. The part had to have been written with James Spader in mind. I can't imagine anyone else doing it. Only four left to go for the season and things are really heating up.

I binged on the first junk of the season when it went on winter break. I like it, but it would be a much better show if they focused more on the Red and Liz storyline. They're much more interesting than the case-of-the-week Blacklisters. I usually end up falling asleep during the last 20 minutes and having to re-watch it later.

I like it that they wrap up the case-of-the-week about 3/4 of the way through and then the REALLY interesting stuff happens.

Four episodes into The 100. Is anyone else watching this? Excellent concept. The writing/dialogue is a little clunky, but other than that, it's very enjoyable. What else have I watched recently ... Hmmm, I'm caught up with the first season of Mixology, very funny. Raunchy funny. Hmmm, and a bunch of other stuff. Yay, TV!
