The final season of GOLIATH is fantastic. It is a tribute to Hitchcock and has great guest stars, including Bruce Dern and J.K. Simmons.
Author of The Road to the Dark Tower, Stephen King: A Complete Exploration of His Work, Life, and Influences and The Dark Tower Companion. Co-editor with Stephen King of the anthology Flight or Fright.
Season 1 is kinda like dark comedy. It takes a season to find its footing, but after that it quickly sky rockets into an incredibly compelling morality tale/character study. And of course, Bryan Cranston gives arguably the greatest performance of any actor like ever.
It's my favorite show of all time, and it forms part of my personal Holy Trinity of TV dramas - Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and The Wire.
At least I gave it an honest try. And you're the one that told me it was ok to stop since if I wasn't into it by then then I probably wouldn't be
You might hate me after this but I've never seen The Sopranos or The Wire.

Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
I didn't enjoy the first Godfather movie either. Not sure if I even saw the second.

Try Tigtone. Then thank me, or curse me!
Taylor Sheridan is one of the best Writer Directors working today.
Just started Yellowstone and I am loving it. Also his new series Mayor of Kingstown just dropped and the pilot was great!
Looking forward to watching both these series.

I'm not going to say it is amazing or anything like that, but it isn't bad. It's a Cinemax show I believe. I feel it had the over the top, unrealistic, everyone losing too much blood and surviving approach, like Banshee. Banshee for me was much better, but it had that type of vibe. No idea if there will be a second season, but GoL isn't bad.
Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality. Edgar Allan Poe
GoL WILL have a 2nd season. I really liked that show, mainly because it is by Gareth Evans who is a talented director (see his films the Raid & the Raid 2 for over the top martial arts action). I also like mafia stories lol. More than the subject matter of his films i really enjoy some of the innovative shot selection and filmmaking techniques he uses. I just really feel like he is on the cutting edge and am glad he's getting an opportunity to make a larger project
Banshee I have been having problems getting into, I mean I don't dislike it, but it just hasn't quite grabbed me yet. I've been watching it on HBO max and am currently mid season 1. I am goign to follow through with watching the series but its the kind of thing I watch when I am caught up on all the other shows I'm really excited about.

Finally started Midnight Mass last night, 1.5 episodes in. So far so good. Man does Mike Flanagan have an eye for visuals.
Yellowjackets. It’s hands down my new fav show. This is a mystery you can really sink your teeth into.

Gangs of London is the shit! Gareth Evans is the man!
I'm enjoying Midnight Mass, but it's a show you better watch when you aren't tired. There are some legit slow episodes.
I really enjoyed the pilot. Looking forward to seeing where things go. Concerned about the longevity of a story like this.
