Me too. It'll be good to have some new Halloween viewing to look forward to.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Stephen King - alright!
Jordan Peele - alright!
Megan Fox - whaaat?
But at least she won't give me flashbacks to something awful, as Hader will.

Wow. What a great freaking poster! I love strong imagery like that.

I finally caught up with and finished I'll Be Gone in the Dark. Outstanding documentary - not your typical true crime fare.

Just finished binging The Alienist: Angel of Darkness. Loved it. I remember not liking the book as much as its predecessor, but the reverse is true here. I thought the tv version of Angel of Darkness was every bit as good The Alienist. Nicely done. I hope that Caleb Carr gets around to finishing the long rumored third book in the series.
Yeah, he has not published a novel since 2016. He had some serious tax issues - paid some big fines. The rumor is two more Alienist books that bookend the first two. One is a prequel, The Strange Case of Miss Sara X and the other brings the gang back together, The Alienist at Armageddon to be published in the reverse order here.
