I don't think King wrote this or will appear. King used to attend many Comic Cons, but I can't imagine he would've agreed to sign up for SDCC, which has gotten very large and crowded these past few years. This also coming after a jam packed book tour last month.

A glance at the auction indicates to me that If King didn't write the story, whoever did plagiarized it. Perhaps the writer for Trump's wife...Interesting.

I actually like that part.
With the first printing being 1942 then it would be doubtful that they would be handing out that printing. A fourth printing decades later isn't unreasonable.
It would have been even better if they had hired an older actress or did her makeup to make it appear she was 90-100 years old.
