My Tower of developing 1.) a published book is getting very close and 2.)writing a novel for future publication is at 30 chapters.

The book is a collection of things I've written. Most have already been submitted on this site with the exception of two.
The novel is an extended tale of one of this short stories that I found more back story to work with.
Not an obsession, but I miss my ex Susan as much as Roland misses his. Reading Wizard and Glass, the scenes of them, it's hard not to think of her.
I realised today as I was going to the post office to put my hands on my English edition of Fatu Hiva that Fatu Hiva is my tower, too. Even if I never get there.. it will be with me.

Unfortunate! It may have been fun to be the victim of a lynch mob...something to tell the grandkids about, anyway...if you were to survive the experience, of course.
