The earliest etymological reference I can find so far with any sort of sexual connotation (I just did a brief search) is a 1912 reference from US slang...this was simply the expression easy rider as a descriptive term for a sexually satisfying lover. Most likely the modern interpretation was evolved shortly after if not before this I'd guess.

I agree 100% with Letti, i'd love to have Roland sitting across from me, telling a tale or two.
I believe that were we to find out more of Roland's past, he would have came across many of sai King's many creations. Perhaps even disposed of (or aided) a few of thse on some level of the tower.
