I started with his first book, Song of Kali. I've read lots of his stuff since, but that one really impressed me. Two of his later works, The Terror and Drood are also awesome!

Thanks. A little off topic but can you believe that my entire county library system does not have one book by Dan Simmons! I'm starting to think my local library really sucks.
