This is actually a cool set. If only it had M IS FOR MAGIC instead of FORTUNATELY THE MILK- I'd be all over this. Still, $11.00... that's tempting..

I like the art and I have never seen a version of the UK Coraline, so I dropped the 11 bucks.

Really? I had just assumed that you had one of the 10th anniversary bloomsbury Coraline books - these were out in 2012, HC in slipcase and signed by both Gaiman and Riddell - 2250 s/n copies. The HC matches the HC Graveyard book (although that one was not s/n - at least the one that I have).

    Heres a copy:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neil-Gaiman-...item35ed0cddc9

    and a little cheaper:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Coraline...item232738c061

and better yet - Bookdepository still has them - and at least on their site it says signed. If it were me I would cancel the pb books and just buy this one:

    http://www.bookdepository.com/Corali.../9781408818626

it is a really nice book - and cannot beat the price

Yeah, I do have the s/l Coraline. Sometimes I lose track of everything I have.

I still like box sets, and $11 won't kill me...

My plan is to wait for Gaiman to do one of his select book store signings and then order a signed copy of whatever the current book is + have him sign the slipcase of this edition.

What's the Amazon link? I don't see a signed edition. I only have an iPad and cannot search quite as easy as the PC.

I think that collecting Neil Gaiman is worst than King, there are SO MANY limited items !

    From his twitter account :
"The upcoming UK paperback cover for "A special Christmas edition" of THE OCEAN AT THE END OF LANE"

Is that a new thing, "SPECIAL CHRISTMAS editions"?

The Truth Is a Cave in the Black Mountains :
"There are only 250 copies of this edition of the beautifully illustrated short story from Sunday Times bestselling author of the National Book Awards Book of the Year THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE."
    >>> https://www.headline.co.uk/books/det...=9781472221087

SO MANY of his stories are being printed, illustrated !

I love Neil, but this is getting ridiculous. First, I certainly don't need any more copies of Ocean. As for Cave, it looks like there is a U.S. Limited that I preordered from Amazon but also now there is a UK limited as well? Combine that with the different versions of Sleeper and the Spindle...I can't keep up. Plus, the new version of Neverwhere comes out today (Easton Press signed edition is available now). I'm getting tired of chasing signatures. I'd actually prefer to read some new books from him as opposed to collecting different versions of the same book or story.

I think that limited Cave is the same as the US one, a few other UK sites have better pictures that seem to match.

    eg: https://coles-books.co.uk/the-truth-...eddie-campbell

as for the new paperback, I think its fairly common for new covers to get rolled out every now and then, but I dont see them as collectible at all.
(although I do like that cover!)

Money money money... its the same with the SK-books, all the reprints and so on... I do not like it! Now 10th aniverary of Joe Hill... for what? And so on and so on... squeezing all the money out of the collector!

I don't know....the limitation page on the Coles site shows 3000 copies, which would make me think that this is the one that Amazon also has. But his Twitter feed says in response to another user -- "There will only be 250 of them." So I don't know what he is talking about.

Curious. the copy sold through subpress was 3000 too: http://subterraneanpress.com/store/p...ition_preorder

and the copy on that coles page has the same isbn as the version listed on the headline.co.uk page

Gotta believe it's 3000 - no longer avail at sub press, the amazon page is down, as well as the one from things from another world. And there is no actual order availability from headline site. Coles is the only one of the mix that has available to order. Guess just have to wait a month to actually see.

I'm not chasing all of those various covers, editions, etc. please throw Harry Potter in that mix - there's a new special, Christmas, colored edition seemingly every 9-12 months. But they have the fans I guess to support all of these reprints.

But the truth s/n does look like a nice production. I only wish it actually included a DVD showing footage from some of the readings - since that was truly a fun evening - when I saw it in SF.
