Can anyone tell me who was the first UK Publisher to print The Wastelands? I'm building up my collection with UK first publications

    Thanks

As far as I know it was Sphere, ISBN 0-7474-1188-3, 8 pounds 99 pence, 1992, trade (large size) paperback, 512 pp with color illustrations.

Ur2nd has got it right, the first three volumes were published by Sphere. If you want the true first editions then don't confuse the Sphere books with the Sphere Overseas printings. A good source for information on UK 1st editions comes from our own Mr. Rabbit Trick: http://www.akyle.f2s.com/uk_firsts.html

I used to be a stickler for details like this and according to my records THE WASTELANDS was published by Sphere in January of 1992. I found this information in LOCUS magazine.
