I seriously thought a few months ago I would never have to hear about Scott Pilgrim again...guess I was wrong.

lol, I don't state whether or not it's a rewatched unless I watch it twice in that year, which I denote with (2). All my movies this year have been rewatches. New Year which is good for re-visting old favourites.
Most of my 2010 list was winged from memory as I didn't see the thread until about August. I probably missed dozens of them. Be interesting to see how many I actually watch.

Considering we're only a week into January this is loads of movies for me, I wouldn't normally watch this many in a month. But, we just got the movie channels included in our sky (like cable) package, so Rob and I have watched a movie most evenings.
lol I've watched five in 8 days and that feels like nothing to me. Some weeks I watch ten or more. Just a few weeks ago I watched almost Wes Anderson's entire filmography in a single day.
If you want a challenge, watch Lord of the Rings Extendeds in a day. Think it comes out to around 13 hours. I haven't done it all in one day but I was close. Disc one of Fellowship then slept, watched the rest, Two Towers and first disc of Return of the King then finished that off the next day. Hard to watch THAT much movie.
p.s. how do you get that '2010 list' to become a link. I feel I'm the only person here who doesn't know. I can't link it, but not make the words the link.

I tend not to watch movies in the day (at weekends, I'm at work in the week) because if the kids are at their grandparents I feel like I ought to be doing something I couldn't do if I had the kids with me, so I usually end up going out and visiting friends (at the pub ), staying in watching a movie seems like I've wasted the free time some how. However, I had some really good recommendations last year off you guys and I'm more into movies than I have been for a long time.
I know what you mean. BEen hanging out with an old friend more who loves movies more than I do. We watch a couple movies a month. He's introducing me to more classics and I've been introducing him to the hidden gems of the 90's/2000's. I've got like 10 of his DVD's right now and I think they're all from the 70's...damn that was a good decade for films. It's fun to talk with and analyze movies with other people. Sometimes I help him see something from the movie he's missed and sometimes he helps me see the finer points. I definitely look for different things in film lately, more from a directing standpoint; arrangement of shots and set pieces and lighting and mood. One of the reasons I loved The Conversation (Francis Ford Coppola) he got me to watch, so brilliantly directed.
But yeah, I'm alone 90% of the time and about 5% of the time I'm not alone I'm watching movies lol. I've got a stack of new (well, new old) movies to watch but have been watching movies I've seen several times each instead.

Me too ! I limit my rewatch posts to those I've seen before, but haven't watched hem in a long time. Otherwise, I'd have to list Fight Club about 15 times on my 2011 list !Also, I dread to think what my movie list would look like if I included all re-watches.
.....................
35. The Tenant.
36. The Tenant.
37. The Tenant.
........................
which makes me think I have to finally get around to watching Fight Club.... I think I have a slot somewhere between The Tenant re-watch # 852 and # 853

Mattrick - didn't see the bit about how to link in your post before. Basically get the URL for the post you want to link to, use the "Insert Link" tab and then make a title like this: {URL} http: whatever][2010 List]{/URL}
Despicable Me
Black Swan
Greenberg
A Soldier's Story
Frozen
Laura
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

How was Frozen? I wanted to see it when it came out but I don't think it came to any of my theaters. I put it in my Netflix queue awhile ago, but it's on the low end of the list.

Ah, On Demand? I'll have to see if I can find it so I don't have to waste a Netflix send on it.
