Jean, which the Haunting in Conn did you see? The original one that sparked the show a Haunting, or the recent remake in 2009? If the later I'd suggest watching the first one

Both were pretty good. Captain America is pretty much everything you'd expect, like all the recent comic book movies. Chris Evans does a really good job portraying the hero, and overall the action was very exciting. I didn't like it as much as I liked Thor or Iron Man, but it was still a really good comic book adaptation. Plus, the after-credits sequence was the first official trailer for the Avengers movie, which looks awesome!

Source Code was interesting....certainly very action-packed and well acted. The science behind the whole plot was a little iffy, but then again, I'm a science fiction fan, so who am I to complain? There is a bit of a "twist" during the film which I thought could have been handled a little bit better. But it leads to some of the best parts of the movie, so again...can't complain too much. I don't think I'd see it again, but I was entertained for 97 minutes. It was a decent flick.

What did you think of Harry Brown, Dt? I enjoyed it myself, even if the plot was a pretty basic revenge movie. Michael Caine was awesome, as usual!

Yeah, I think my parents were a little surprised at how violent it was, and usually they don't particularly enjoy violent movies, but they enjoyed Harry Brown a lot! In our household, that's considered a family film. We even thought of recommending it to grandad!

Ha! I was surprised mostly because I hadn't heard alot about the film, so wasn't sure what to expect, but also because it's a departure from the sorts of films Michael Caine is usually in. He totally owned the role though, he was great to watch. I reckon your Grandad would love it, it's not often OAP's get to be the hero

Yeah, i think he would enjoy the sight of a pensioner teaching hoodie scum to respect their elders (and anyone else for that matter) just as much as i did. His favourite film is gangster movie Essex Boys, after all!
