You don't be disappointed. It's brilliantly written which I can't say about many horrors.

Jean, was the Mother's Day you watched the film by Darren Lynn Bousman? If so, what'd you think of it?

I think it was incredibly boring, predictable and altogether pointless. If not for Rebecca De Mornay I would have fallen totally asleep, but even with her there I had to fast-forward.

That's because Darren Lynn Bousman sucks. I blame him, along with the studios, for ruining Saw. That's why I wanted to see Insidious so bad. Actually looked like a good horror movie and it's directed by James Wan and written by Leigh Whanell who did the first Saw. They also did a movie called Dead Silence which I heard wasn't a fantastic movie but my friend said despite it's problems it was still very creepy.

Regarding DLB and Saw, Saw III was fantastic and is one of my favorites. Saw IV? Not so much, greatly due to DLB's seeming lack of care for being thrust back into directing another installment after it was supposed to end at III.

Insidious was fantastic, Jean. One of the best horror films I have seen in a long time.

yes, and the first pink was a short film, to which quite different rating rules apply. Thus, TLE is the only 5-star full-length horror I've watched this year so far.
