This still gets stuck i my head on a regular basis:
There's one hole in every revolution, large or small. And it's one word long.. people. No matter how big the idea they all stand under, people are small and weak and cheap and frightened. It's people that kill every revolution.

I don't know anything about Gilligan's Island. And I am not a fan of Sesame Street.
    But...
    ...I adore this guy:

Soo, I voted for Sesame Street.

Sesame Street, but the real one, not that shit that comes on now. Roosevelt Franklin would shank Elmo in a heartbeat.

I actually watched the very first broadcast of Sesame Street. (Mother told me so.)
Sure, it was innovative and educational, and the muppets are adorable. Yay.
    But, holy crispy crap man....
    Gilligan was hilarious!
I could tolerate Sesame Street the second time through with my kids
(thank the gods that they never liked Barney!)
but, I will still laugh at the looney hijinks of Gilligan and the gang. Probably will get tickled by that show til the day I die.

ORELY? It was kind of funny, sometimes. Hilarious? Don't think so, sorry. Not like some of the other nominees.

Hm. I guess I have poor taste. Or I was more focused on these two than on other shows...
there certainly were other shows that were funnier than Gilligan.
    Few sillier, though.
