Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)
When one is in agreement with bears one is always correct. (mae)
bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just finished Dangerous Visions, an anthology edited by Harlan Ellison. So many great stories.
I started Little by Little by John R. Little. Fantastic collection. He'll be glad to send anyone an inscribed copy too. I received mine the day after we talked. Or you can buy it here: Little by Little

The Tower Of The Elephant by Robert E Howard and edited by L. Sprague de Camp
Now reading Stephen King's new novel released today: MR. MERCEDES.
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Re-read of Mr. Mercedes, of course.

Trying something new here... Reading Mr. Mercedes out loud with my fiancé listening... She wanted to experience a king novel so I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I told her it might be like a gateway drug, although she has already read and loved Joyland.
I read to my wife all the time -- it's a great way to experience books. We've been working through the Craig Johnson Longmire books this year.
Here's what I'm reading to myself:
Author of The Road to the Dark Tower, Stephen King: A Complete Exploration of His Work, Life, and Influences and The Dark Tower Companion. Co-editor with Stephen King of the anthology Flight or Fright.
It's been soooo long since I've read any Vonnegut.
Since the Starks I ordered with birthday money have yet to be delivered, I decided to plunge right into the next one as opposed to alternating between series book and noir as I've been doing all year.
Ruthful: Dream Team looks like an amazing book. But I have to disagree with the description in one regard; they are no longer the undisputed greatest team in history.
Gene O'Neill - Dance of the Blue Lady. This is a collection of short stories from Bad Moon Books available for Kindle and in paperback. I strongly recommend it.
Actually, get both this and John R. Little's phenomenal collection Little by Little. Both from BMB, both 5 star reads. Two more stories and then I start Mr. Mercedes.
Finished the reread of The Gunslinger and have moved on to (the reread of) The Drawing of the Three. Funny that I still enjoy these books even after multiple times reading them.
