I'm nonviolent with those who are nonviolent with me. But when you drop that violence on me, then you've made me go INSANE, and I'm not responsible for what I do

Just started:
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Finished The Thirteenth Tale. Absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it.
Now I think I'm going to go try to finish Drood. Wish me luck.

Good luck, Heather!

Reading Eyes of the Dragon. Nearing the end. Its not a bad book. Not great but not bad.
Oooh you'll have to let me know how it is - I got Terry to read Wicked (which I read cause I ADORE the musical) but got him Son of A Witch and Lion Among Men for his Xmas He said that he was wondering what the other books were like so any info will be greatly appreciated
I'm now finished WOTC and moved onto Song Of Susannah now! I freakin love them!! I can't wait to actually get up to and read the final Dark Tower book!! Still never read it - despite owning it for years. I could just never bring myself to finish the series!!

I just barely finished Hands of Isis, which was actually pretty good, and now I'm starting Lost and Found by Carolyn Parkhurst. It's starting out pretty good as well. Prior to that I read a Kristin Hannah book and another book called The Piano Teacher, which was not as good as the dude in Borders swore that it would be. I'm going to go back there and beat his ass with the book.*
*Not really, I don't have the heart for that.
A true firewasp ninja would never wear such a ridiculous sweater.
There's logic in nonsense.

I loved WICKED and really liked SON OF A WITCH. So I'm giving this one a shot. Haven't read much of it yet what with all the holiday goings on (mainly the boys on Christmas break), but I'll let you know how it goes.
Have you or Terry read LION yet? If so, how was it?
I'd love to see the stage play of WICKED. Maybe while it's still in San Francisco...

Neither of us have read Lion yet, I read Wicked at the start of the year and it's taken Terry this long to finally give into my constant nagging to actually read the damn thing - now he's hooked! (james 1 - Terry nil) he's planning to read the next one and then Lion I think.
I would literally sell my soul for a chance to go and see Wicked! It was on in London and we were going to go for our honeymoon but couldn't bloody afford it we're still to have an actual honeymoon and we've been married for 2 years now! If you go you'll have to let me know what it's like - I've listened to the soundtrack so many times I could probably act it out!! I think Kirsten Chenowith is a god!! Have you seen a show called Glee? She was in that for one episode and was just amazing!! (and the show is pretty darn good as well!)
