It's been years since I've read it but as far as your question,
    Spoiler:
I think it just states that they were twins? I don't remember that being as heavily dealt with as in the movie.

    Spoiler:
Angier and the newspaper man deduce he is a twin, but Priest never actually comes out and says it. The evidence Angier finds says he can't be and that he must have altered his own records?

I was more intrigued by 'the pact' and how it came about and what it felt like from each brothers angle.

But it was only a teeny tiny gripe and i loved the rest of the book, especially the way it was written from each persons angle/diary

Hood, by Stephen R. Lawhead, book 1 of the King Raven Trilogy

If anyone is interested in what Robin Hood could have been, in a historically accurate setting, I highly recommend these books. It strays from the original legend, but I find it to be a good thing during some parts. It's a lot more realistic

I thought the writing style was particularly interesting as well. It was really cleverly pieced together.

I really need to re-read it though. I've forgotten alot of it.

If you like Priest's style, I'd highly recommend The Affirmation next.

Great books. I really like most all of Lawhead's books, but those are especially good.

Just finished this fantastic work about capital punishment in France:

And am now reading my first Haruki Murakami novel.

I've been wanting to read some of his fiction for a long time, and I fell in love with this novel after less than four pages!

This book blows my mind. That's what I need after a long day at work... a woman who wants to live with her dead husband's brain... a man who likes betting and collects fingers... and lots of other grotesque stories.

    Roland would have understood.

OK, i don't know how popular Roald Dahl is everywhere else, but if you had asked that question in the UK, do you know what reaction you'd be most likely to get?

    Spoiler:

Fortunatly, you're american, so i can only assume that the total legend of every Brit's childhood is not quite as well known in the US. I can assume, anyway.

DD, I'm quite positive you'd get the same reaction if one were to claim that Dr. Who is superior to LOST.

But no, I'm not familiar with the childhoods of British children.
