Give it a chance and if it changes beyond what you can bear (not you Jean), then leave. People not unnaturally fear change, but change in itself won't necessarily be detrimental to the site. It's only a change of name and hopefully all else will remain the same. Who knows?...Jerome may add, remove, adjust or fine tune what we already have and the change may result in an improved experience. That's not to say of course that Matt & Dora, Aarron and Hannah haven't done a fantastic job, for which I give many thanks.
Don't stay for a while Dags, and you might regret it...and, I believe, in any case you will be drawn back no matter what...
Bears and Wolves be soothed...look on it as the first step on a new and exciting adventure.

The site will not be a fully moderated board. It will move to the new URL but all of the content migrates. Of course the logo at the top of the page changes-that probably is the biggest change one will initially see.

I am uncertain about what is going to become of us with this change... but I will maintain loyalty until I would have a damn good reason not to.

This is absolutely correct. It really was inevitable, and I think that we all knew that going in. Running a site is expensive and can be time-consuming, so without unlimited funding and time it had to end--or at least change--at some point. But it has been an excellent ride and I am intensely proud of everything that we created here. This site is everything that we envisioned it to be when we began, and I am positive that Jerome will lead it well into its second era. The community is what counts. And remembering that throughout the entire time we have been running this place was what made it work.how can we have any security when change is inevitable? The original painting that I did of the site logo sits on my desk at work and is a constant reminder of this place and the time spent here. I will always be grateful that I was able to share in this with the other Directors. I sincerely hope that all of you will transition to the forum's new home and will enjoy your time there; I know I will be along for the ride (as a member
