Last nights episode was fucking amazing.
Any doubts I might have had about the actor playing The Governor have been swiftly dispelled. He was insanely menacing with the simplest of gestures, what a great actor. I can't wait to see the two worlds collide.
Well this week's episode (Killer Within) had me on the edge of my seat pretty much the entire time.

Watched this last night and was riveted to my seat the whole time. I was expecting Carl to get it while Lauri was giving birth. I'm not sure why I thought this but that's what I was expecting.
That episode was complete and utter bull shit! One good thing about it is Lori is finally dead. I hated show Lori compared to comic Lori. But the way they killed her was bull shit. I think they should of done what they did in the comic. But I guess the tv producers would have a hard time with getting away with. I guess we won't be seeing a certain somebody end up with a mild case of memory loss either.comic spoiler

My theory....the woman in Woodbury who was about to give birth (the tour-guide woman mentioned her to Andrea and Michonne during their "orientation") will end up taking care of Lori's baby.

Any one have any theories about the tea? (that hasn't read the comics, that is)

It has been a while since I read the early issues(I started pretty early in and the comic is up to 103 now and I haven't done a re-read), but I don't remember the tea showing up at all in the comics.
I expect if it turns out to be anything at all it will be something the governor tells the people will up their immunity to the virus, but it really placates them somehow, or something along those lines.
There's one hole in every revolution, large or small. And it's one word long.. people. No matter how big the idea they all stand under, people are small and weak and cheap and frightened. It's people that kill every revolution.
Wow. When I first started watching The Walking Dead, the only other person at work who was interested was the IT guy. He has cable, so it would always see it a day or two before I caught it on Amazon... I knew I was in for something special when he said, "Maybe you don't want to watch this one... given your condition." I immediately thought, "OH SWEET! The baby dies in utero and eats its way out of her!!"
I have to say, this episode upset me for so many reasons... but even in my hyper-hormonal state I didn't cry. Did anyone else feel like the episode moved really really quickly?
Kirkman said he did. Maybe he's just messing with us but that's what he said on EW or some such media outlet.
Does anyone else feel that the actress playing Michonne over acts a bit? She needs to find balance and not be sulking like a female Batman all the time lest she become a caricature of a character.

Yes lol. There was one scene where she is like sitting with one knee up staring at the governor with her eyes squinte and jaw clenched and my brother and I actually laughed outloud. I'm a little disappointed in that character so far in general.
I don't see how the tea could not mean anything, they make such a big deal out of it. I don't remember it being in the comics either though.
I kind of am hoping they totally stray from the comics and kill off Karl at this point. Too much?
I had my infatuations, but we both know in our hearts who is the sole love of my short, bright life.
The characters definitely changed a lot since last season... which is understandable. But I still don't quite get why the acting has changed so much. I don't really like ANY of the characters anymore. Plus, the writing seems very different as well. Each episode seems rushed and disjointed, with less engaging plot elements than before. Or maybe I'm being too critical?
Well, in all fairness she's still a fresh face on the show. The best is yet to come for her ... but yeah, she's definitely not off to a good start.
This season will be of a much faster pace than S2. Honestly, considering how stagnant and downright dull S2 was I welcome the change.
Me too. Season 2 really started to lose me. Whereas this season I've been loving it so far. Also have I mentioned how happy I am that a certain someone is now dead
