Yes, but I can't afford it at $7,000 $8,000 or heaven forbid $9,000. Even $4,000 or $5,000 would be harder. But $4,000 or lower would be easier. So I can look all I want. I just won't happen. I fooled myself into thinking I was a big timer but I am not. The most I ever spent on a book was for Ralph's Green Mile and while I won't say the price, I will say that it was well below $4,000. TBH, in the $2,000 range is what I could really do but I now that will NEVER happen. Plus, I could not do this at once. It would have to be a payment plan which I am sure most people would be adverse to for a book like this.
So that's that.

We shall se Kris. We shall see. But the light is really dim now. I was so stupid because back when this came out, I was really just starting to try and get a nice collection and I thought $900+ (EOTD+Misery) was
a lot back then. Of course now I have spent more than that on books but the Misery isn't even a Holy Grail any more. It's made of un-obtainum. I just can't do it Kris. It's a mistake that I made and will
just have to live with it.

Sometimes I give up on things, but only temporarily - I just set the concern aside, knowing that circumstances (like specialty book markets and personal budgets) may, and likely will, eventually change in ways I can’t foresee. I’m not saying we’re all gonna one day get everything we want - but like a book, you can put the worry on the shelf for now and return to it later. Who knows what the future holds...

I like the upbeat vibe in my thread. But I have circumstances beyond financial that prevent me from getting books that expensive. If someone doesn't care, and wants to take a bath and sell me one for $2,700, I am your guy.
But I really don't see it happening at todays prices.

You know what's better than one email shipping notice? TWO. Just received the shipping notice for the Suntup poetry book AND I received the shipping notice for SWTWC yesterday.
Who knows, maybe next week will be a very good week indeed .

Just got notified that I was able to get a book from John's collection. This makes me so happy. When I get it you will know. But I will say it's not a mega book. I do hope to get more
though.

Both my Suntup poetry book and my CP SWTWC are expected on the 21st. How cool would that be if they both arrived on the same day. But I expect them to be different.
I am just happy that they are both coming soon. Plus John's book. Could be a nice week next week.

Wow. Now my book that I got from David from John's collection is expected on Mon as well. Boy, If I get everything I am supposed to get next week, it will be epic.

So I got SWTWC from CP. Wow. It's a very impressive book. It's a beast. Big tall and heavy. It has a two part case like Horns from Suntup has. The artwork is awesome. The extras in the back are really cool. I can't wait to take a closer look at it. But I am very glad I got it. Pics, if anybody is interested a bit later. But boy is this a keeper.

Thanks Brian. Like I said I have a few items from the John H. collection that I got. One is on it's way and one I am doing a lay-a-way and I just sent off
a the second check to Ralph for something. Plus I still have the two Suntup books coming my way. So I am pleased. Let's see what 2021 holds.

That's it. As you can see this is a spectacular edition. One CP "higher end" books. I am very happy I got this ed. I think it's fantastic.

Nice Mike. Not sure if you noticed but there is a plastic protective film on the spine illustration that you can peel off. Also have you checked out the 3D images with the glasses provided? They are pretty cool when you get the hang of looking at them... it's the images where there are two side-by-side.
