So, here is my BOBD first ed signed. Plus it came with a CD case. I don't know how rare this is compared to something like Mr. Mercedes, but I think it's pretty rare. But I know The Outsider is more rare to find a 1st\1st. Anyway, the pics

As there were no formal signings for 1st editions of any of those three titles....they are equally rare in my opinion. That said....there was a signing for The Outsider in which later printings were sold....so I would say that one is the "least rare" of the three.

I would agree with the outsider, but when the publisher put the book out, the did not just put out first printings. A lot of what I have seen are something like 4th printing. (I have a later printing one as well.) So I think having a true first ed first printing (like I also have) may be one of the more rare ones. That's all I meant. And the market seems to agree. 1st/1st outsiders are listed at much higher prices than the other ones. Nut I am happy to have all in my collection. Just my thoughts though. Thanks for stopping by.

Yep....all three are rare.

Not having a signed copy of BoBD really bothered me.......finally remedied that but it took a while.

Also, like I said, stuff from the 80's 90's and maybe even 2000's that are signed would be cool also. Plus, the proof itch is starting again. Man, this really never ends does it?

P.S I took a look in your thread. WOW do you have some killer stuff. I need to look through it again. Also, I saw that you had two Firestarter DJ. Mine is just a little beat up (Just a few minor marks on the top and bottom) and I probably could not afford one anyway with the stuff I am going to have shell out.
