Finished watching HBO's new take on Perry Mason tonight. What a fantastic series. Very different to the famous CBS series, but a great drama in its own right. As someone who remembers watching the 90s revival as a kid, it was particularly satisfying watching the pieces fall into place, so Perry and his world is much more recognizable to fans by the end. More than that, it's just a gorgeous tribute to film noir. Looking forward to season 2 already.

Just finished The Mandalorian season two. Wow! Loved every minute of it. So much better than season one. The final 10 minutes were sooooo good. My wife wept with joy at how good it was.

I lost it. It was what good TV is all about. Jon F Shoudl have helmed it all I think. He really did the old

So I've been binge watching a ton of shows recently since there's nothing else to do. Watched Bridgerton, which I loved. Finally caught up on Anne with an E and watched season 2 and 3. Also loved that one. Now I'm onto Servant on Apple tv. Has anyone seen this one? It's so good. Watched them all in a matter of a day or two and now I have to wait a week for the next one.

I feel like I took a Delorean back to the 1980s and changed the future, only to come back and enjoy season one of Cobra Kai. Loving every minute of this guilty pleasure. I am already two episodes into season two and I can't stop smiling.

So I finally started Dark on Netflix, only a couple of episodes in but I'm really enjoying it.

I've also been devouring both Losing Alice and Servant on Apple TV. I can't recommend either of these enough, they're both excellent. When the current seasons end, I highly recommend you guys do a trial of the service or get it for a month and watch both of these shows. Also I'm dying to talk to someone about Servant!!! It's killing me that no one seems to be watching this show. I really wish these had gone to other providers so they could get more eyes on them.

    Finally someone that's seen it!
    Spoiler:
Why are her husband and brother enabling her like that?! Also what about her father, does he not know that their new baby went missing? And what do all her coworkers think... she lost the child, then has one, and now it's kidnapped?... So many questions

    Ressurection: Ertugrul

This is a Turkish TV series with English subtitles. Season one is a whopping 75 episodes. Currently on Ep # 72!

13th Century Turkey; Based on historical events, the story of Ertugrul, father of Osmun I (Founder of the Ottoman Empire) a Turkish Muslim and his fights against the Christian Knights Templars.

I find this fascinating with all the twists and turns, betrayals, brutal sword fighting, and depiction of the Muslim faith and tribal life.

Can't wait to start Season 2 where I think the tribe moves and having defeated the Templars must face the Mongols.

Thanks, that got me curious. It's on Netflix, but it's actually five seasons, about 20-odd episodes each.

I loved Us and while I don't think the new Amazon show Them is connected in any way, they are clearly channeling similar themes.

I have one more episode and I can say the show had a lot of potential if they just played it straight. It's trying to mix in horror elements and it's just not working for me. It's trying to be American Horror Story in some parts, but it comes off as cheesy.

Wikepedia says 20 eps per season, but that's not true. Season 1 was 76 episodes, Season 2 is over 100 episodes.

Episodes are approx. 42 minutes long. Watching this series is a major commitment.

The past couple of weeks, I've been binging Grimm with the missus. She's watched it before, but she really wanted me to see it. I can see why. It's way more insane than I expected it to be. When I watched season 1, my main thoughts were: "OK, this isn't a bad show. Bit "case-of-the-week", but an interesting idea, at least." I'm up to season 5 now, and my thoughts have generally been along the lines of, "WTF?!?" Very entertaining.

I just finished watching the first season of Only Murders in the Building, a Hulu original series (10 episodes) starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez.

Holy shit what a great show: an intriguing premise, great writing, and Martin and Short are as great as you would expect.
