The Shining. Both are outright classics, but I feel I'd rather pick up The Shining if I were to choose between re-reading either of these two.
Both are really good reads, but I think I would probably read Salem's Lot first.

Close call, but I picked The Shining.
As everyone else has said - 2 great books .... but i went for Salem's Lot!
