Whew! I just got confirmation for my order of both states of the book. Matching numbers to boot!
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
I received my e-mail saying I had one of each reserved for me. I was kinda worried yesterday after seeing everyone get their e-mail and I hadn't. This is a relief.
I also ordered mine on Apr 20 and got confirmation for both books yesterday. Hopefully they will be in before I ship out this summer.
Anybody hear anything new on this?

Nope. I checked the site the other day to see if there were any updates and nothing was mentioned. Maybe we'll hear something soon.
Life is a garden...dig it!
I e-mailed Paul 2 days ago. I got a response which said something like, we hope to get this out within the next several months.
So, not anytime soon folks.

Well atleast they haven't taken our money yet unlike some other publishers!

I paid for mine in July since I was going to be gone until next January. Paul said at that time they were hoping for a late fall publishing date.
This came via email today:
"The Very Best of Best New Horror is also back on track after an issue with the printer, and is set for publication by the end of this year; the deluxe edition is sold out, but a small pile of signed & numbered copies remain."
I just got this from Paul at Earthling Publications in response to my question on shipping:
JohnHi John,
With luck, late December for the numbered and approx 2 months later (for slipcases to be made) for the deluxe.
Thanks,
Paul

Has anyone here have to pay for their order yet? I haven't received anything from them or do I need to get in touch with them about it?
No it looks like you pay when the book is ready to ship, i like it much better that way
The first page said is was signed by King, but now it's not. I'm not intereted in it now.
The first post should be edited to show the correct information.
There are two versions - the limited offered by CD is not signed by King. The deluxe edition is signed by King and is sold out

I was especially pleased as I have been nearly ready to place an order for Mieville's King Rat for a couple of weeks in anticipation of matching my limited set of The City & The City, Kraken, and the forthcoming Perdido Street Station. Needless to say, I was more than thrilled to get it for nearly 75% off. At least I hope I do at any rate. I have yet to hear back from him regarding a confirmation. He did mention it might take some time to get everything caught up.
Anyway, I thought a few of you may be interested in this sale also.
