That seems to be a good starting price.
Me too. I think he changed the existing listing.

The Full Dark BCE s/l sold for $330, which is the right price...a little bit more than signed trades have sold for.
It would have sold for about 5.00 more if company hadn't come to my door right before the end of the auction.
I had a snipe bid of 333.33 sitting on my screen (for over two hours) waiting to be clicked through at the last moment - but the auction was just over when I got back after getting rid of my friend. (one of the pitfalls of the snipe method)
ah well, I most likely wouldn't have won it anyway... I'd have just drove the price up a few dollars for the person that did end up winning it.
Ha!
Just wanted to say a big thank you to CD for getting my Gift edition out. It just arrived now, and it is Awesome!
I've been checking out everyones photos, but lets face it, the real thing is always going to be more fantastic!
Wow! Wicked good prices. I wish I were part of that email campaign. I would have bought as many as they let me... Thanks for the info, Mr. Rabbit.
Thanks for the additional info, Mr. R. T.
Given that both Brian Freeman and Ms. Mod have now confirmed the legitimacy of these, I guess this counts as another signed numbered limited edition of sorts. It seems to me that it warrants its own page in our King Catalog.
Thoughts?
I'm no expert, but I say no. It is a trade edition with a limitation page that is not numbered, except to state there are 100 copies. Although there are only 100 copies, this would be like Horns from Joe Hill that had a no-number, limitation page added by the publisher. I wouldn't consider that a s/l edition either.
But the s/l Under the Dome from Scribner is there.

That's true, John. I don't know one way or the other. A lot of publishers are inserting signed limitation pages into books and sending them out, like Horns, the UK edition of The Passage, or even Sarah Palin's new book. Are they limited? I guess they are based on how many were made. So maybe it should be considered a s/l edition.
There is no rush to decide-other than having good images either saved or provided.
stated limited to 100 copies
it's signed on a separate signature page
signed and limited - sounds like a signed/limited to me.....a signed/limited of the book club version...
I get many signed limiteds produced by CD (and other publishers) of various authors that are not numbered... that's the way they are marketed.
signed/limited/not numbered gets my vote on how to categorize this one.
I'd say it should be included as a S/L.
I concur.
Thank you for your input, everyone, and thank you for creating that entry, Jerome.
