yeah I do not remember anything as "slick" as that car chase scene in the book - if the movie is hollywood and moves too fast - it'll miss all of the things that made the book a fun read.

I would go with 1 and 5/16 - which would make sense since becca initially said 1 and 1/4 and to add the 1/16 above. In my books relaxed state it is at 1 and 5/16 - if i hold it closed its about 1...

I presume that these would take into consideration that there's a brodart, etc on the books - so they're not too tight of a fit? Otherwise everything looks great.
