I finally decided to use some of my wealth of rewards points toward picking up DBZ Kakarot while it's on sale. It only ended up costing me 5 bucks including tax. I've always liked playing DBZ games....
I was planning on rewatching TWD before the final 8 episodes, but I don't think that's realistic. So I'll instead take my time and aim to have my rewatch done by the time Season 11 is on Netflix.

Someone's gotta get Rome, Open City in there. They filmed it weeks after the Nazi occupation so the neo-realism is extremely neo-realist!
It's the final 8 episodes starting in October.
Saw Nope. I give it a 3/5 though it gets the bump to 3.5/5 on letterboxd. You can read my thoughts here: https://letterboxd.com/mattrickbt/film/nope/
This thread getting bumped reminded me that I'm going to have to sign up for AMC+ for a month or two so I can watch the last few seasons of Fear the Walking Dead (haven't watched since Season 5) and...
Oh wow. If you've told me that, I totally forgot it, but I won't forget it now. I love Up in the Air...it's one I actually rewatched recently for the first time in years and came up with an...
I just realized why the first few episodes of The Wire seemed so odd to me. Because I watched the first few episodes of Season 5. The app puts the episodes backward and even though the first episode...

No. I know it's highly regarded so I've been wanting to watch it for like 15 years. I downloaded the first season in like 2010 and for some reason the files contained only the audio. And then I just...
I'm 5 episodes into The Wire now. The episodes and becoming more focused. It's a lot easier to become invested when they aren't trying to juggle the massive cast in every episode. If it stays like...
Absurd, yes, but as an allegory about race and social class in America it's a first rate film: I get chills when I hear the line "We're Americans."[/QUOTE]
I've seen/read plenty of allegories...
I liked US until the final third. Then it became Exposition: The Movie, and I liked it a lot less.
I haven't seen any of it yet. It's one of the ones I'll get to eventually. I liked Breaking Bad but I didn't love it.
i just realized that I can watch Season 19 and 20 of Hell's Kitchen on demand, so that's kind of become my priority for easy watching while I play some video games. I generally abhor reality TV, but...

I also wish I could understand why this forum adds all these empty lines between my paragraphs. It happens at random. I thought it was just my old laptop at first, but on three different laptops on...
