actually looked this up...
according to tech hive.com, the first computer to ship with a internal cd ROM drive was the Performa 600 made by Apple in 1992.
still much earlier than I knew about.
I knew CD's were invented... I had one of the first CD players... a Technics 1x sampling that cost me $2200.00 back in 1983 (real mega bucks in the 80's)
there were only 3-4 music CDs available at...
88? I didn't realize they had CD's and DVD's for computers back then?.... I know all I was using were the five and a quarter inch floppies.
remember the dial up modem that one had to set the...
